Cybermodel Spotlight:Elijah Coxx From CameraBoys

Rasmus Müller interviews Elijah Coxx from CameraBoys.

This month’s Cybermodel is 31-year-old Elijah Coxx from CameraBoys. The handsome, 5’10” tall performer hails from Romania, a fact that often prompts his viewers to ask about the story of Dracula. Luckily, Elijah always enjoys talking about history, legends, and spooky stories. Elijah now works full time as a cam model and he likes having the chance to get to know so many wonderful people. When it comes to love, Elijah is a romantic at heart who enjoys dinner dates by the seaside, candlelight, and romantic songs. Where are you from?
I’m from Romania, and I’m very proud to tell everyone that I come from the homeland of Dracula. [laughs] I grew up near the capital and I had a pretty normal childhood. I used to spend a lot of time playing outside with my friends and getting into trouble, like most kids. My mother wasn’t always happy with that, but she has always supported me.

Do you have any fun stories about cam modeling?
Since I’m from Romania, many members are interested in the story of Dracula. Once a viewer even asked me to act as if I was Dracula, and that was a fun show to do because I’m a huge fan of those types of stories.

What are your favorite hobbies at the moment?
I enjoy doing DIY projects around the house. I like to create and build things. I find that very fun, and I also enjoy cooking. I consider myself a good cook.

Do you have any hidden skills?
Cooking is something that really relaxes me and I hope I will continue to improve my cooking skills. I like to think of myself as a provider. [laughs]
Do you have any pets?
At home I have a stray dog that I adopted and I love him so much. This summer I built him a new house and I’m very proud of it. I want to give him all the comfort that I can.

What traits typically attract you to someone?
There are so many, but I really enjoy people with a nice sense of humor. After all, who doesn’t like someone with a good sense of humor?! And I also like people with common sense.

What scares you?
Believe it or not, being alone scares me. That’s another reason why I enjoy this job so much. When I’m camming, I’m never alone.

What life lessons have you learned during recent years?
We should be more patient in life, and respect each other more.

What are you like as a cam model?
I’m a very natural type of guy. I think I have a little bit of everything. If you’re the type of viewer who enjoys good conversation before a nice show, then I’m your guy.

What was your first cam show like?
I was nervous, of course. I think everyone is nervous in the beginning. As with any new job, there’s a period of adjustment. You try to impress and to be as perfect as possible at first, which just ends up making you even more nervous. But I wouldn’t want it any other way.

What’s the best thing about cam modeling?
The best thing is that you meet people from all over the world and get to be in touch with so many different cultures. I’m the type of person who is curious by nature and I like to discover new things and learn about new traditions. It’s like traveling, but without the fuss of moving around. Also, it’s really fun to explore and to get in touch with your sexuality.

Do you get along well with your fans?
They make camming fun for me. Camming offers me a chance to learn something new every day. No one likes trolls, of course. But even a troll can put a smile on your face if you know how to take what they say. 

Do viewers ever fall in love with you or become obsessed?
I think there’s a fine line between falling in love and becoming obsessed.

Have you received any unusual cam requests?
I can’t say I’ve received any unusual requests. Memorable ones, yes. I have lots of memorable, everyday private shows, and that’s a blessing.

What advice would you give to aspiring cam models?
Patience and devotion are two words that should define you as a model. Don’t expect everyone to fall in love with you right from the beginning, and be devoted to your members.

Are you single?
I’m single, but I can honestly say I don’t feel alone. I have all my fans to fill my heart everyday.

Some things about you that fans might not know?
I’m a romantic at heart. I enjoy dinner dates at the seaside, candlelight, and romantic Spanish songs.

Do you friends know about your cam modeling work?
There are lots of misconceptions about this kind of work, but those who are close to me know what I do and they support me in every way.  I actually got started as a cam model because some friends of mine told me that I had a certain appeal and that being a cam model would suit me perfectly. At first I didn’t know what to say on camera, so I just thought, “You know what, let’s do this!” And I haven’t regretted a single moment ever since.

What would you like to be doing five years from now?
I always try to enjoy the moment. I don’t like to make plans that far ahead.

What other jobs have you tried?
I once tried to get into the construction field, because I enjoy building things. I like to make stuff with my own hands because it relaxes me.

Are you interested in mainstream modeling?
I always wanted to become a model, but life took me on a different path so I said goodbye to that dream.

Are there any social or political issues that you currently feel strongly about right now?
I’m not a political person and you’ll never hear me talking about politics. But if there’s anything I support, it’s definitely equal rights for everyone and respect for animals, too. As long as we respect each other and love each other, I’m satisfied.

Do you watch much TV?
I used to watch TV, but now not so much. Being on cam a lot, I don’t have a lot of time to spend sitting in front of the TV. But I wouldn’t mind watching some detective stories or maybe some legends from long, long ago.
