The employees represent the brand – it is not just a pickup job, some of these employees have been there for 15 plus years.
The reviews speak for themselves, visitors are more than happy with their stay and come back year after year. The hotel enjoys a consistent 90% occupancy and coupons given for free stays during the offseason have a 70% redemption rate. Summers can be sleepy in Key West, but it’s the prime time to get great dinner reservations and theatre tickets. And of course, there’s always the constant action in Island House. Island House activities are so popular, that there is a recurring booking done by someone’s wife who gladly lets her husband spend a week doing his “male bonding thing” so he can come back and spend the rest of the year being the happy hubby – he is quite a busy visitor.
