This month’s Cybermodel is award-winning gay porn star and stand-up comedian Wesley Woods. Wesley has performed at comedy clubs in L.A., Las Vegas, and other cities all over the country and he co-hosted this year’s Cybersocket Web Awards. Raised in Texas, Wesley now lives in L.A. He’s been nominated for numerous awards and was named Performer of the Year at the 2017 Grabby Awards and Best Porn Star at the 2018 Cybersocket Web Awards. In addition, Wesley also made it to the Finals of L.A.’s Funniest Comic. Since 2017, Wesley has served as the proud brand ambassador for IWantGayClips/IWantEmpire.

How did you get started in porn?
At the tme I was living with my best friend Silvia Saige whom I had met at a standup comedy open mic in Las Vegas. At the time, I had no idea that Silvia was a female porn star. Silvia suggested I get into porn and it seemed like a natural fit (pun intended) so I went on Craigslist (Rest In Peace, personal ads) and responded to a call for adult models in Las Vegas. Three weeks later I was sucking dick for money.

Do you get much fan mail?
My mom once received a letter at our ranch house in Texas that described in detail how much they loved me and were my number one fan, and how Americans think they have privacy but don’t realize how easy it is to locate them. My Mom framed the letter and it’s hanging in my old bedroom.

Are you single at the moment?
I ended my engagement to Dr. Chris Donaghue in Jan. and I’m not sure what dating looks like for me right now. I often have this conversation with my friends. Those closest to me know that I have a huge heart and love to love. But as much as I’d love to be in a relationship, my work and commitment to my craft don’t really allow for a traditional, heteronormative-style relationship. Maybe it does. I guess what I’m saying is that I’m willing to fall in love again, but I’m not looking for it or planning on it.

Something about you that most people don’t know?
I’m extremely spiritual. I’m into numerology. I love horror films and walking around cities where I live and/or travel. It’s one of my favorite ways to experience each place I visit.

Your life five years from now?
My great-grandmother used to say, “If you wanna make God laugh, tell him your plans!” I have dreams and aspirations that I’m actively working towards, but I also understand the importance of trusting the process. I’m constantly writing. I’m working on a cartoon, a scripted show, a one-man show, and a book. I’m going to be prepared when the opportunity presents itself.
