There’s no denying that CAM4.com’s 30-year-old, six-foot-tall cam performer Bryan Cole is a very sexy guy. However, there’s a lot more to this hunk than meets the eye. For starters, he has a bachelor’s degree in computer science and a masters degree in business administration. During the week, he works as a full-time system administrator for an IT company in Ohio. How did you get started as a live cam performer at CAM4?
I’m an exhibitionist, so it kind of just fit for me! The fact that you can do it whenever you want also made it a no brainer!

Ever get any unusual cam requests from viewers?
I have had some interesting ones. I occasionally get someone who is afraid to ask me to participate in a fetish of theirs. I’m very open-minded, though – so I always ask anyway and I’ve yet to encounter a fetish that I wasn’t OK with.

Any advice for new or aspiring cam performers?
It’s all about your personality and the quality of the video. Try to make sure you pay attention to details like lighting and camera quality, etc. You also have to have the right kind of personality for camming. You have to keep the viewers in mind and keep them involved. Ultimately you just have to enjoy yourself and have a good attitude!

What traits typically attract you to someone?
I like someone who is driven. I also like someone who is athletic, but not bigger than me physically. I generally like to be the taller, more muscular one.

Something fans don’t already know about you?
I’m shy! Really, I swear! Actually, this is something that has been getting better over time – but I’ve always been shy. I know it might sound crazy (and it kind of is, considering what I’ve done on cam) but it’s mostly only when it comes to people I know. When it comes to strangers, I’m much less shy. But over the years I’ve become more outgoing.

What would you like your life to be like in 5 years?
I hope to still be progressing with my professional career and traveling the world. Additionally, I hope to finally have my student loans paid off. Those are certainly a drag!

How did your first cam show go?
It was actually a smooth experience. I didn’t really know what I was doing but luckily I got a good crowd and we were able to make our way and have a lot of fun!

Have you done any porn work?
Yeah, I have. That got started in a roundabout way, thanks to an ex-boyfriend of mine.  We started some ‘dirty’ Twitters which led to a ‘product demo’ with a company I was very familiar – with which led to getting an agent and doing full-on porn.

Best thing about cam modeling?
I like being a cam model for several reasons. The first being that I can do it whenever I feel like it and have time. I don’t have to go by a set schedule or take a huge chunk of time to get ready. I just boot up the laptop, hook up the camera, and I’m ready to go! Granted, I do try to make sure the area on screen is somewhat clean, since a mess in the background can be a bit distracting!  Another aspect of being a cam model that I enjoy is the realtime interaction. I love being able to cater to requests in realtime and to develop a show catered to the current viewers.  After all, I’m turned on the most when you’re turned on the most. Additionally, I actually like the “artistic” aspect of it all, as strange as that may be.  Now that I’ve gotten a standalone camera I’ve been able to experiment with some new angles and views which are a lot of fun… and in clearer HD of course. Now if only I had a camera assistant, then some of these would be a bit easier to accomplish…

Challenging things about cam modeling?
One of the most challenging things about cam modeling is your web connection!  There have been times when my internet provider decided to drop out at very inopportune moments.  It can be quite frustrating for the viewers and for me as well. Luckily, this hasn’t been an issue since I switched to a faster cable plan.

Where did you grow up?
I grew up in Ohio and have lived here since.  I plan to move eventually, but in the meantime I’ve been enjoying the low cost of living here and taking the opportunities I have to travel.  I’ve even been able to take CAM4 along with me on some of my adventures!

What are your fans like?
I think I tend to have the fetish crowd as my biggest fans. I’m certainly not afraid to do things on camera that may not be as prevalent on the internet, so it’s a plus for them as well. I also think the ones that enjoy interaction are my bigger fans, since I try to interact as much as possible.

Do people fall in love or become obsessed with cam models?
I thing they can become obsessed somewhat. This can happen anywhere really. I have friends that have had friends obsess over them after just sharing a conversation or two. Luckily with camming, your interaction is controlled and your personal details are private.

Are you single?
I’m dating a guy I met in San Francisco a while back. He ended up moving here and we live together at the moment. It has had its rough times, as any relationship does, but it’s still going strong.

How does your BF feel about your cam work?
He doesn’t really get bothered by it. I normally do it when he is at work anyway.  He has done one show with me so far and I know the fans would like more, so that may be coming up in the future.

What other jobs have you tried?
Well I’ve done porn as I mentioned before, and I also have a full time job in IT as a system administrator.  The cam work and the office job allow for a very yin/yang life.

Interested in any kind of non-adult performance?
Not really. I already have a full time job in IT, so I’m pretty happy there! Also,  I’ve had to try to “act” during a porn shoot or two. And well, they weren’t exactly Academy Award material…

Your favorite hobbies?
I’d have to say that anyone who knows me would definitely agree that it’s the gym and travel. Those are my favorite things to do. I love going to the gym to get a decent workout in (while enjoying some eye candy) and a jerk in the shower. It’s even better when someone joins me for a jerk in the shower… That happened once and it was amazing. As far as travel goes, I’ve just been working on getting to places I’ve had on my bucket list (and some others that came up as a surprise.)  I’ve only started international travel recently, but I’ve managed to cram in a decent amount of destinations.

Do you have any pets?
I do not. I almost got a dog once, though. His name was going to be Benny, but that didn’t happen. In the end it was for the best, since I’m really not home enough for a pet.

Mainstream celebrities you find hot?
Well I’d probably take Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Ryan Reynolds, or Cam Gigandet.  Please and thank you!

Do you watch much TV?
Ah, yes. Thanks to the DVR I am able to watch some of my favorite shows. I have a number of shows that I record. Highlights include Scandal, Big Bang Theory, 2 Broke Girls, Law and Order: SVU, and Modern Family.

What kind of music do you like?
I like a wide variety. Most days I listen to electronic / dance. At the same time, I do have my days where I listen to more rock. One thing I will say is that I don’t prefer country. Though I admit that some friends are pushing some of it on me and I have found a few songs that I like.

A pivotal life experience?
This would definitely have to be traced back to talking to a guy on grindr in Florida one time I was down there and then continuing that conversation.  This one simple “hello” turned into me dating him and then turned into my first porn scene and brings us all the way to where I am today.  It’s crazy how even the smallest action can end up changing your life for the better or worse. Luckily, in this case, it was for the better.

Life lessons from recent years?
I’m not sure that it’s a life lesson, but my motto about karma having your back if you do good in the world has held true. I do my best to make other people’s lives  better at all times, and I’ve had a number of situations in which I’ve received some positive good luck. I like to think of it as being the universe’s way of saying “Thank you.”
