#1: Skip the Trial Offers
Skip the trial offers at the networks below. Some of them have trials that turn into recurring subscriptions priced significantly higher than the site’s normal rate. That said, even normal trial offers are designed to exploit human foibles. It’s safer to go for a 30-Day recurring subscription. When it’s offered, a 30-Day non-recurring membership is even better.The up-front charge may be higher, but a one-time fee can save you lots of money in the long run.

#2: Uncheck All of the Pre-Checked Offers
All of the following sites (at press time) were using pre-checked subscription offers. At some point during their sign-up processes, checkboxes will suddenly appear that ask you to add additional website subscriptions to your order – and they’ll be selected by default. If you don’t uncheck these offers, you could end up with extra subscriptions that you don’t want – and recurring charges that are two or three times more than what you were expecting. #3: Beware of Unrealistic Claims That Don’t Jive With Industry Norms
