After growing up in Canada and spending two years in Brazil, he began a career in carpentry. In 2004, a chance meeting with Roman Heart at a nightclub sent him hurtling towards his porn debut for Falcon in Spokes 3. After working for numerous major studios, Jeremy struck out on his own with Club Jeremy Hall, a site dedicated to hot jock sex. The site has been extremely successful and Jeremy has also begun directing for On the Hunt. We recently caught up with Jeremy and found out a little more about his life, career, and websites.

What did you learn while developing Club Jeremy Hall?
     When I started Club Jeremy Hall I had no money. I was just a broke-ass, 24-year-old college student living in Vancouver, Canada. I dropped out of school and used my student loan to start up CJH. My first camera was a $300 home video recorder. I was paying my friends next to nothing to appear on the site – using bedside lamps to light my sets and friends to fuck my boyfriend. I managed to launch the site six months later. I learned you just have to dive into things, even if you don’t know what you’re doing. You will learn from your mistakes and struggles.

Have any fans made it into your clips at Club Jeremy Hall?
     No, but that’s a great idea! I get a lot of fan mail and I love reading it. I try to respond to as many as possible. I’ve received all kinds of crazy emails. One guy wanted me to ban him from my website. He said he was so addicted to my videos that it had ruined his life. What do you say to that?

Do you hear from guys who relate to  your  story on your bio page?
     Yes, I get a lot of those kinds of emails. Not just young guys but people of all ages tell me how much they can relate to my story. I think it’s pretty common for gay people. But yes, I do get a lot of younger gay guys telling me how much they can relate. I don’t know why I put my story online. I guess I felt like it was relevant.

How did you get involved with On the Hunt?
     In late 2007 I was promoting Club Jeremy Hall at the Venus Trade Fair in Berlin. I met Adam Segel (the CEO of ManHunt) while in the VIP area. I told him about Club Jeremy Hall, which was new at the time. He later contacted me and asked if I could start directing for a new site they had created. At the time it was still in development. I had no idea they would allow me to jump in on the videos. At first it was a directing and producing role only. I found the models and shot the videos. Then they started making suggestions that I put my dick in the models mouth while I was holding the camera. And before you knew it I was fucking the models and things were getting totally out of control. It’s been great. I love working for On the Hunt.

What do you seek in new models?
     I think a good performer is someone who can focus on the sex. I see so many new models come into the business with stars in their eyes wanting to become famous and I think that’s great. However, this doesn’t always make for the best porn. I wish that new models would understand the most important thing is to focus on the sex. You don’t have to forget about the camera. You just have to not care that it’s there. Don’t try to be an amazing porn star – people will notice. It looks fake. Just be yourself.

What’s your earliest memory?
     It’s kind of odd and depressing, but my family was very poor growing up. I remember being 5 and moving into a townhouse in Ontario, Canada. My brothers and I were starving and we found some left over bologna in the fridge. My Mom made us split it three ways. It was dinner…  Mmmmmm.

What life event has had the most profound effect upon you?
     That’s easy. It was definitely deciding to come out of the closet. I know it sounds cheesy, like get over it, right? But I was very closeted and in denial through most of my adolescence. The decision to start telling people in my life had a huge impact. Also, I read an amazing book in my early twenties called Driven to Distraction about Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD). I didn’t know I had ADD until I read this book and it changed my life.

Remember the first boy you kissed?
     Yes, it was my hockey friend in grade 9. It happened in the locker room… for real!

Where is your career headed now?
     I’m launching another pay site under the Jock Bucks affiliate program. It will launch early next year. I will not be appearing on the new site as a model. I’d like to continue to produce pay sites and to develop my online company. I will continue to perform on Club Jeremy Hall for another year or two and then I’m retiring from modeling before 30.

Best thing about the adult industry?
     Fucking hot guys, traveling, and nightclub appearances.

Any recent changes to the site?
     I moved to weekly updates a few months ago. Now you get a hot new sex video every Wednesday. Members can use Flash, Quicktime or Windows Media Player to view or download all videos. The site is now also on a content delivery network with servers around the world. This will reduce the buffering time.

Have you made any new discoveries recently? Is there anyone on your site who you think is going to become really popular?
     These things are hard to guess because it depends a lot on if the performer decides to continue with it. But I have a few recent finds such as Jackson and Anthony which are featured on the site. Anthony I found in Philadelphia and has an amazing sexual energy and really enjoys sex.

What have been some of your favorite films to work on so far?
     I enjoyed working for most of the big studios. Chi Chi’s and Falcon’s sets were always fun to be on. But I have to say I really enjoy my sets so much more. There is just no comparing. I love shooting my own videos.

Unlike many other sites, you’ve resisted the temptation to rely on solos to fill the site out. In fact, you don’t post solos at all. Has that been an extra challenge, since real sex scenes are harder to organize and execute?
     It’s true most sites use solo as filler content. Very few people really get off to these videos but site owners love these updates because they are very cheap to produce. I really try not to do solos but I have done a few on Club Jeremy Hall. A solo is appropriate only when you have a really good idea for it. I have shot a few solos that are hotter than sex scenes, but it’s rare. It requires planning, creativity and a little bit of luck.

Besides seeing a lot of poverty up close, what other experiences did you have during your time in brazil and how did they change you as a person?
     Well I was 17 when I moved there and almost 19 when I returned home. Those are some significant life changing years regardless of your circumstances. I can’t say anything really changed me but I definitely returned home with a new found excitement for life in general. It was just a great experience.  

Are there any directors, studios, or performers you haven’t worked with yet that you would like to work with?
     I’ve always like Steven Scarborough and Doug Jefferies. He’s one of the few Directors within the group of big California based studios who are drama free.

Besides sports, what other hobbies and interests do you have?
     Snowboarding, Skydiving, movies, travel, shopping, boating and driving long distances in the country.

What are you most afraid of?
     Failing.

Does working in the adult industry take a toll on relationships?
     I really haven’t been in a relationship since I entered this business over three years ago. I tried dating another porn star but it didn’t work. I’m just not really interested in that right now. I’m focused on other things.

What one word best describes the ideal man for jeremy hall?
     Perfection

How did you lose your virginity?
     Were guys, we don’t lose our virginity we serve it up.

Where do you see your career heading in the next few years?

     I would love to have a dog or cat. But I travel too much and it wouldn’t be very responsible of me to get a pet right now.

If you are no longer living in Canada, do you ever think about moving back there – or about living in Brazil again?
     I really want to visit Rio in the next year or so. As for Canada, I would base my company there but its so hard to find models up there. I find most of my guys from the US midwest.
