Gay and Straight Webmasters are "Coming Together!" Cybersocket Hosts 1st Ever Unity Ball at Internext in January

On Monday, January 5, 2004, Cybersocket will host the first ever Unity Ball, the only event of its kind to create a positive environment where both gay and straight webmasters can gather to socialize under one roof and do business together.

Proceeds from the Unity Ball will benefit organizations that each sponsor selects from a list of companies that are either non-profit or help protect/benefit our industry through positive activities. Beneficiaries include Adult Sites Against Child Pornography (ASACP), Internet Media Protective Association/The Acacia Defense Fund, The Free Speech Coalition, and the Adult Industry Medical Health Care Foundation (AIM).

“We strive to create events where all guests are comfortable and have ample opportunity to build long lasting relationships,” says Cybersocket president Morgan Sommer. “It’s very important that both gay and straight webmasters have an opportunity to exchange ideas, share information, and socialize in a relaxed atmosphere. We’re very proud to be hosting the first ever Unity Ball—the industry is stronger when it stands as one.

But good things come in threes—Cybersocket has organized two other can’t-miss-events during Internext-Expo:

The 4th Annual Cybersocket Web Awards Show and Gay Webmaster Cocktail Party will take place on Tuesday, January 6, the second night of the Expo. This welcome mixer features our annual event honoring the best of the best of the gay Internet.
Finally, as a farewell to Internext attendees and a welcome to Adult Video Show attendees, Cybersocket will host its annual Adult Industry House Party on Wednesday, January 7.

These events are designed to build business-to-business relationships within the gay Webmaster community as well as the larger adult Webmaster community.
