Cybersocket Thriving After Six Successful Years

LOS ANGELES-Cybersocket LLC, now in its sixth year of business, has continued to pioneer the forging of gay and lesbian website search tools into extremely useful publications. Continuing to introduce new products and services each year has led to their spectacular growth and expansion.

The company publishes Cybersocket.com, a search engine, Cybersocket: The Gay Net Directory, an annual guide with over 2,000 gay and lesbian site reviews, the printed Cybersocket Web Magazine, and the Cybersocket Newsletter, a biweekly e-newsletter targeting both Web professionals and Web surfers. Also, Cybersocket will proudly host the 3rd Annual Cybersocket Web Awards in January 2003.

Cybersocket Web Magazine, in print since 1999, is the largest freely distributed gay and lesbian periodical that keeps gay and lesbian Web surfers and webmasters up to date on the latest Web trends by featuring informative articles and new site reviews. The magazine will be even more informative with its recently increased publication schedule. Starting January 2003, publishing frequency of Cybersocket Web Magazine will increase from once every two months to once a month. With 70,000 copies printed per issue, the magazine is subscribed to worldwide and has a readership of over 200,000.

Cybersocket's 3rd Annual Web Awards show will be held January 6, 2003 at the world-famous Gipsy Nightclub in Las Vegas, Nevada. It honors the best gay and lesbian websites of 2002, chosen by Web surfers, in 31 different categories. This is a truly unique event, as webmasters from all over the world will attend. In conjunction with the Web Awards show, Cybersocket will host its annual Gay Webmaster Cocktail Parties, which have become known as the "unofficial gay Internext Expo." These parties are some of the most popular post-convention events and provide webmasters excellent opportunities to network with others in the industry and do business.
