Some of the industry's biggest publishers have introduced LGBTQ characters, and many talented indie writers and illustrators have created brand new fantasy worlds that are based around LGBTQ characters and settings.  If you're new to graphic novels, the selections below are a great place to start. If you enjoy any of these, there are many, many more out there to discover.

Megahex

This new collection features all of the previously published books in the Megg, Mogg, and Owl series (including Book 3 which is pictured) plus 70 pages of brand new material. The dysfunctional third wheel is Owl, an anthropomorphized owl, and Werewolf Jones is also a regular visitor. Underneath the comedy, the characters struggle with serious issues related to depression, drug use, sexuality, poverty, unemployment, loss of ambition, and confusing interpersonal relationships. It's a mirror of our modern lives, basically.
