    I hate to sound creepy, but death. You would think it wouldn’t scare me anymore, after having lost my grandparents before I was 10 and then losing my father five years ago. But that’s what scares me the most.

    The last 3 years had a major influence on my life.  Leaving a boring career job, moving to LA, and bartending really opened my eyes.  We are all brought up and taught that we must do this and do that, or become this and that…  But it wasn’t for me. I’ve found myself on the inside, particularly within the last year.  I know what I don’t want in my life and I’m learning what I do want.  I’ve become comfortable with who I am. In the past, I was always looking for approval from friends, loved ones, and society.  Now I seek it from within.  And that makes me happy.
