Jonathan Agassi is enjoying his newfound fame after appearing in Michael Lucas' Men of Israel and Inside Israel. This 25-year-old Israeli hunk has all the makings of a porn god with his chiseled body and a pair of smoldering eyes that could bring any man to his knees. His biggest dream is “to be known all over the world for what I do best,” he says. Although he's an amazing performer, there's a lot more to this intelligent and charismatic guy than meets the eye. Although he's now known around the world, Jonathan remains grounded and has chosen to stay close to his family and his beloved Tel Aviv rather than relocating to New York. Jonathan recently talked to us about life, first times, relationships, and porn.
WHEN DID YOU FIRST KNOW THAT YOU WERE GAY?
I always knew that I was gay. But when I understood what it really meant then I went directly to my mom and told her. The next day I “came out” to the world.
WHEN DID YOU HAVE YOUR FIRST SEXUAL EXPERIENCE?
My first time was at the age of 14. I was with an 18-year-old gay boy from my neighborhood. We were dating for some time after that but my mom hated him… And moms come first. [Laughs]
HOW MANY RELATIONSHIPS HAVE YOU HAD WITH MEN?
I've had a few. My longest relationship lasted three years. He was the cutest boy ever. We lived together and it was a lot of fun but I prefer the single life at the moment. We broke up not long ago.
WHAT ABOUT RELATIONSHIPS WITH WOMEN?
I've had sex with two different girls. One of them was my girlfriend when I was 15. I told her I was bisexual and she thought that was so hot, so I asked her, “Would you be my girlfriend?” We dated for a few months, but she had to “force” me into having sex.
HOW WAS SEX DIFFERENT WITH WOMEN VERSUS MEN?
I can't really tell you what the difference was with women because I blocked it out. [Laughs]
DOES YOUR WORK IN PORN AFFECT YOUR RELATIONSHIPS?
It's an issue because I've never been in an open relationship (by choice.) But I guess when I get into a partnership, at this point. it will have to be an open one. I don't think it will be fair to ask for monogamy while I'm doing porn. So I'll have to learn how to negotiate the “openness.”
DOES YOUR FAMILY KNOW ABOUT YOUR GAY PORN WORK?
Here in Israel my whole family knows. I have the full support from every one of my siblings. I have a brother and sister living with me. My big brother is dying to do straight porn! [Laughs] My father, who lives in Berlin, knows I do porn and he is so proud of me. He has twins (they're so cute!!) and a girl, but his children are too young to know what porn is. I'm so lucky to have such a supportive family!
DID YOU ALWAYS KNOW YOU WANTED TO BE A PORN ACTOR?
I knew for a long time that I wanted to do porn but I never wanted to compromise how it was done and who I was working for. So it took some time – around 3 to 4 years, until I actually did it. Lucas Entertainment was my first. [Smiles]
HOW DID THAT COME ABOUT?
Michael Lucas was scouting for new stars for Men of Israel and I jumped on it like an animal! It was really quick. I saw an ad, called my mom and told her. She said “yes” and then I met with Michael and it just clicked.
HOW DO YOU BALANCE FAME AND A PRIVATE LIFE?
Israel is a small country, so my life is not really private anymore. Everybody is very curious to know the Who, What, When, Where, and Why of everything I do. I'm doing what I've always wanted to do, so there are no complaints from my side. Other than that, I'm the same. [Smiles]
STILL IN TOUCH WITH YOUR MEN OF ISRAEL CO-STARS?
My two co-stars, Avi and Matan from Men of Israel are in the U.S., so we talk every now and then. I cannot wait to see them again! Also, I have the HOTTEST scene with Naor Tal in Inside Israel. Have you seen how hot he is? Woof!
HOW CLOSE ARE YOU WITH YOUR FANS?
My fans are SO important to me! I'm always updating my status in every social network I belong to. I have my fan page on Facebook and it excites me to see it grow everyday! I do my best to satisfy my fans in every which way I can!

HOW DO YOU DESCRIBE THE GAY COMMUNITY IN TEL AVIV AND YOUR PART IN IT BEFORE MEN OF ISRAEL AND YOUR PART IN IT AFTER MEN OF ISRAEL?
I have been a part of our gay community since I was 16 years old! I worked in the biggest clubs here for a while and got second place in the "Man of the Year" contest in 2005J. After that I was on many gay magazine covers here and did all kinds of fashion productions. Now that I'm in porn a lot of doors have opened up for me so I get many offers to perform and I like it a lot!!
YOU’VE TRAVELED TO PARIS FOR PARIS PLAYBOYS. WHAT ARE THREE DESTINATIONS THAT YOU LOOK FORWARD TO VISITING AND WHY ARE THEY YOUR TOP THREE CHOICES?
Wow! I would love to go to Brazil! (Just because they have the best asses ever!) I'm dying to go to Italy but I'm more interested in the tourist locations there. But of course I'm waiting to get to the U.S.A.! That’s my biggest desire at the moment.
WHAT IS YOUR REACTION TO YOUR INSTANT FAME?
It happened quickly and I’m taking it as it comes. I hope I'm handling it well. I'm in a business that draws good and bad reactions so at the beginning it was kind of difficult to receive the negative comments. But that’s life, and I'm happy that I'm doing what I love!
WHAT IS YOUR BIGGEST SEXUAL FANTASY?
It’s a new one!! Really, because I always have said that I don’t have any but now I do! I would like to have sex in the in the middle of a crowded place, but not like in a sex club or something. I'm talking about a museum or a big crowded railway station, with me and my partner just focusing on each other while people all around shocked or turned on. [Smiles]
WHAT IS YOUR SEXIEST ATTRIBUTE?
My connection. Whether I'm aggressively in control or letting myself be vulnerable I love to have a deep connection with my partner. It can be as simple as giving that constant eye contact or holding an intense kiss for a moment longer than what you normally would. It's important for the passion to find some level to truly connect with outside of the physical.
