It's hard to believe that Jeremy Bilding has only been in the porn industry for about a year. In less than twelve months, he's managed to make a name for himself as a porn power player who appeals to both men and women. Jeremy's laid back personality and striking, refined features – combined with a sharp intellect – have proven to be a winning combination. Although he's now a Channel 1 Exclusive, Jeremy actually got his start when he replied to a Craigslist ad for models. A “talent scout” then helped to hook him up with some well-known studios and websites, including Jake Cruise. Once folks had a chance to get a good look at Jeremy, it didn't take long for the porn offers to start pouring in.
Since Jeremy has always been vague on the topic of his sexuality, we couldn't resist asking him about it. As expected, his answer revealed nothing. We're beginning to suspect that artful dodgery may be Jeremy's hidden super-power. We see a possible future in politics. What Jeremy would talk about, though, was his first gay male sexual experience. “It was the first scene I’d done with another guy – Tommy D,” said Jeremy. “I was only supposed to be on the receiving end of a massage/BJ. I had no idea what I was really doing, but as the scene progressed I got more into it and was able to experiment a bit. It was great.”
Although Jeremy's true sexuality remains an enigma, it only serves to fascinate his fans. One thing that actually bothers some fans, though, is his barebacking work with Jake Cruise. To date, few performers have crossed over to bareback and then returned to mainstream porn. It tends to be a career terminus. One especially wouldn't expect a model signed by avid safe sex activist Chi Chi LaRue of Channel 1 Releasing to have done bareback work, but somehow Jeremy's unique good looks and positive nature have made him the exception to the rule. When asked about it, Jeremy explained, “I couldn't have been more honored that Chi Chi was impressed with my performances and wanted me in her prestigious stable of guys. The natural sex scenes that Jake Cruise produces are very controversial and a topic that I know will always circulate around me. Before I signed with Chi Chi, I had already been thinking about making the change to condom performances. And now that I'm part of the Channel 1Family, that's how I perform.”
We asked Jeremy if he'd experienced any backlash from the controversy. "Everyone asks me about it," he said, "And some people instantly judge anyone who’s ever performed natural sex scenes." Jeremy pointed out that even on bareback projects, all performers must disclose their HIV status and they are tested a few days before filming any scenes. Performers can also opt for a condom or pass on a scene if they have concerns about another performer.
We were curious to learn what went on in a performer's mind when shooting a scene – and Jeremy was happy to share. “My mind is everywhere during filming. I'm remembering a previous experience with an ex, listening for cues and direction, and paying attention to my scene partner to make sure I'm not hurting or over-stimulating them. I'm also trying to make sure that I'm opening up for the camera and that my partner is doing the same. And then sometimes I'm just thinking, Holy God-balls this feels good!”
We asked Jeremy if it was true that porn stars had higher sex drives and he replied, “My libido and stamina are at a level of obsession that would send most people to support groups. But I like to think I have it in check. When asked about the future, Jeremy says he’s just excited to be at Channel 1 and that he’s concentrating on learning as much as he can about the industry. Now that he's an exclusive for Channel 1 and is becoming even more well-known under Chi Chi LaRue’s aegis, many new possibilities are opening up.
“I love the personal growth, the knowledge I'm gaining, and the evolution I'm undergoing as I have the honor of working with such amazing people,” says Jeremy. “I'm so grateful for all the support I've received since I began my career and I can't wait to see where it will all lead.”
