We recently talked to Randy and three of his models in order to get a behind the scenes look at the world of Randy Blue.

Some people know early on in their life that they want to go into the adult industry, but for Randy it was more of an accident. He explained, “It actually started as a fluke. I was trying to support myself by shooting for other websites and they weren’t interested in my content. I knew that I had a certain vision and others didn't get it, so I just decided to start my own website and see if anyone else would like what I like. Both Jeremy and Ethan told us they were straight and the third model we spoke to, Hunter Vance, identified as bisexual. Some of you might be rolling your eyes and thinking, “Yeah, right. Straight my ass.’ But what people may not understand is that it can be much easier to get started in gay porn than in straight porn. The pay is also much better for gay porn performers than it is for their straight counterparts. Regardless of sexual orientation, however, it ultimately comes down to simply doing a job. If you’ve ever been to a porn shoot, you’ve probably seen the way that they can go on for hours and often end up being decidedly unsexy affairs. The models get paid to create a fantasy, regardless of whether or not it happens to be their own. Jeremy touched upon this point when we asked him if he had any advice for newcomers who were looking to break into the business. He said, “If you’re straight, make sure you are very comfortable with your sexuality.”

One of the things we were curious to learn was about the kind of preparation that models did for a porn shoot. We decided to ask Randy Blue’s Hunter Vance. He’s a funny, charming, down-to-earth guy who had no qualms telling us that he usually gives himself an enema and then hits the gym the morning before a shoot. He also abstains from sex for a couple of days prior to the shoot in order to — as he put it — “save up all the cum I can!” Next we asked all three guys if they liked to ham it up for the camera. Ethan went first. “Since I’m straight, I do perform quite a bit. But in other respects — such as making out or feeling the other person up — I do [it] naturally as if I was with a girl.” Jeremy explained that he tends to “add a little extra for the romance,” and Hunter said it could be hard to pop out a load if you allowed yourself to become too self-aware of your performance.

We asked Randy about his ultimate goals for the future of Randy Blue and he replied like a true entrepreneur. “As the Internet grows and broadens, so will the tastes of the consumers. If you aren’t trying to compete, then you will be left behind. I think our focus will be to offer our customers what we do best and then build on that. I definitely think Randy Blue is a brand name that will be around for quite a while.”
